While on vacation, Daniel returns to find a new
client waiting for him. The client turns out to be an old friend of his
10th Federal Circuit Court Chief Judge Krysta Johnson. Daniel finds out
that she has been charged with the murders of Linda Bacara and Nabiya
Quartez. Daniel knows, as a lot of other people in the well-traveled
and well-known judicial circles, that Krysta, Linda and Nabiya were
friendly rivals of each other. Although they had their disagreements in
the past, none of them had ever wished any harm on the other until now.
Daniel is thrown right into the mix from the start being forced to take
the stand at Krysta’s trial. While in the courtroom, Daniel has to face
Linda’s replacement Assistant 6th Judicial District Attorney Roger
Maxims. As possibly the meanest prosecutor, he decides to pull out all
the stops in getting Krysta convicted, disbarred and sent to prison.
Maxims doesn’t care how many people he has to crush to get the job
done. Daniel has very little to go on except for a few witnesses and a
mysterious phone caller who claims to have done the deed. Will the
judge go to prison? Find out in this mind-twisting book.
