While on a short vacation at the John Martin State
Wildlife area, following the success of
exonerating the bank teller supervisor, Daniel finds himself tossed
back into another bizarre
case. Daniel comes to the aid of someone he thought was just like him;
another fisherman. As the conversation about fishing progresses, the
Bent County Sheriff’s Department shows up with an alleged arrest
warrant. The deputy starts asking a lot of questions to Daniel’s
newfound friend. Soon, Daniel finds himself in court with the District
Attorney for the 16th Judicial District, who hates Daniel from the
start,
for a lot of things that Daniel has done in his past as a defense
attorney. The DA is also strapped for cash, so Daniel makes him a deal.
Daniel will provide a new prosecutor for the case, a judge, a bailiff
etc. In return, all the DA has to do is provide a courtroom for the
trial and sit next to the new prosecutor. Now, the race is on as to who
did what and why. Daniel will need all his wits for this case. Can
Daniel, Jessica and the DA find out who and why before it is too late?
