Proceeding along the loop, we passed through the parking area for Balcony House. Since the Balcony House tours had not yet started for the season, the parking area was empty.

Then we reached our final stop for this loop.

A three-quarter mile trail leads out to the only viewpoint from which Balcony House can be seen. This trail is an easy 15-minute walk. This trail also provides access to a couple of Soda Canyon overlooks.

As we walked along the path, we spied another lizard.

The lizard did not seem to be too thrilled by our presence, and began to move quickly away.
