As with Cliff Palace, we entered the ruins from the left and exited to the right. Amazingly enough, the same ranger who guided our Cliff Palace tour the day before, was today on hand to answer questions about Spruce Tree House, and Mesa Verde in general.

Spruce Tree House is not a guided tour, but they have rangers stationed down at the dwelling. The buildings at the top of the picture I believe are the park headquarters and the museum/bookstore (not sure).

We began to wander around and take in the sights of Spruce Tree House.
