Spruce Tree House has eight Kivas (compared to 21 at Cliff Palace). Some of the Kivas have been "completed", by putting the roofs on them.

This is in an area we cannot enter, so we cannot climb down into them.

However, they have completed one Kiva that is intended for people to enter and look around. That is part of the ladder at the far left.

At first appearance, a Kiva seems to be small inside, but as you can see,

they are actually quite spacious. You can also see in this picture how the roof was constructed. And, there's ol' Jeffery videotaping the inside of the Kiva. Not to be left out, he captured me down in the Kiva as well.
