Proceeding to the
next stop,

we got a good view
of another cliff dwelling, Oak Tree House.

This alcove had a
sloping floor, so the people here built retaining walls and filled in
behind them. This provided support for rooms, a work area, and a safe
play area for children. This dwelling has an alcove within an alcove.
They used every inch of the inner alcove space. Some of their buildings
were four stories tall, reaching the roof of the inner alcove. Storage
space was utilized on an upper ledge in the outer alcove.
Here's another preview of Sun Temple.

We're almost
there! One more stop to go before we reach Sun Temple.
