QuickTime Instructions

If the 360-degree panorama does not appear and you are using Internet Explorer, the display of the panorama may be blocked by Internet Explorer's built-in security features. Check the Internet Explorer security instructions page for more information.

If the Internet Explorer security features do not appear to be the problem, then you may need to install, or update, QuickTime on your computer. The following QuickTime components are required:

  • QuickTime Essentials
  • QuickTime Internet Extras
  • QuickTime Still Image
  • QuickTime Authoring

Install Quicktime:
To install QuickTime, visit the Apple Computer, Inc. QuickTime download page at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/. You must either choose the Recommended option or explicitly select the components required in the Custom Install option.

Update QuickTime:
If QuickTime is already installed, run the QuickTime Updater to add the QuickTime components that are required. To run the QuickTime Updater, use the Windows Start menu (usually in the lower left hand corner of your screen) and select Programs or All Programs, then QuickTime (if you left it at its default location) and then QuickTime Updater. When the QuickTime Updater starts, click the Custom button and select the components required.

NOTE: After using the QuickTime Updater, it may be necessary to reboot your system.
