How to view the
360-degree panorama:
Move
your mouse pointer into the QuickTime plug-in window. The
cursor
will change to a small circle with a dot in the middle .
Move the cursor to the middle of the image. Press, and hold
down,
the left mouse button. Move the mouse left or right. If you
wish
to view more of the panorama that's beyond the left edge of
the window, move the cursor towards the left edge. The cursor
will
change to a left-pointing arrow
and the panorama will scroll right, bringing more of the left side into
view. To view what's beyond the right edge, move the cursor towards the
right. The cursor will change to a right-pointing arrow
and the panorama will scroll left, bringing more of the right side into
view. Additionally, you may be able to scroll up , down and diagonally . A line in front of
the arrow indicates that you cannot scroll any further in the up or
down direction. The closer to the edge of the window that you move the
cursor, the faster the panorama will scroll. By continuing to
scroll in one direction, you will view the entire landscape around you.
Try it! Pick out a point-of-reference/landmark, then drag the mouse
pointer left or right. Your point-of-reference will scroll off one edge
and eventually reappear on the opposite edge when it scrolls back into
view.
